This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I’ve been a mammographer for over 15 years. I chose this field to help women stay healthy and cared for — and to ease their anxiety during what can be a stressful time.

Over the years, I’ve had coworkers and employees diagnosed with breast cancer. Watching their strength and resilience has been truly inspiring and reminds me why early detection is so critical.

Now, I’m proud to manage and lead an incredible team of professionals who share the same passion for patient care. Together, we focus not just on clinical excellence, but on building trust, empowering one another, and making sure each patient feels seen, heard, and supported. Our teamwork, dedication, and shared mission allow us to make a real difference in the fight against breast cancer.

I can’t stress this enough: get your mammogram every year. Breast cancer can develop quickly, and early detection can save lives.
