This money will be used to help fund the following: Research to discover more effective treatments AND Patient support to help connect people with breast cancer education, emotional support, patient navigation, and financial assistance.
We are walking in honor of our former colleague Michele Piazza. Michele Piazza led the Lender Placed department in Santa Ana for many, many years! Sadly, she passed away from breast cancer in June of 2021. This team was started in her memory. In addition, we walk for our network of Assurant family and friends impacted by cancer. Cancer does not just impact the individual it impacts the whole family.
