In March of 2025, my mom, Gila Robben, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she got amazing medical care that quickly got her through all the screenings, tests, and surgery on May 6, 2025.  Since this is also the year of my Bar Mitzvah, I knew right away that I wanted to do something meaningful for my Mitzvah Project. That’s why I chose to support Susan G. Komen, an organization that helps fight breast cancer.

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
