I'm Thrilled to Share Some Exciting News!
Next month, I’ll be walking in the Orange County Susan G. Komen 5K — a milestone that feels nothing short of miraculous. Just eight months ago, I was finishing 12 rounds of chemotherapy and could barely walk to my treatments. Now, I’m getting ready to walk a 5K — something I once considered a "fun, short walk."
From 2000 to 2006, I participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walks (60 miles over 3 days), raising thousands of dollars to support their mission of education, outreach, and research. I never imagined that, two decades later, I would personally benefit from the very treatments and therapies this incredible organization helped fund.
This year, I walk not just as a supporter — but as a survivor and I’m walking with my amazing team: Michael, my family, and friends as the Ker's Fight to Fight Team.
Please consider supporting us as we continue the fight against breast cancer. Your contributions help fund life-saving research, increase awareness, and support early detection — all crucial in the journey to find a cure.
Every day, nearly 700 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer — that’s one woman every two minutes. Let’s do everything we can to change that.
Thank you for your support, love, and generosity.
You can join the Ker Fight to Fight team as a walker or as a donor. We would love to have your support.
With gratitude,
Kathy
