Two Fights 22 Years Apart
The first picture above was taken in 2022 when we participated as crew in our 22nd Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day,
Who knew the beast would strike again one year later? The second picture was taken when I finished treatment of Breast Cancer 2.0 in 2023. I call it Breast Cancer 2.0 because I had Breast Cancer 1.0 in 2001.It was not a recurrence; it was two different types of breast cancer.
There was a huge difference in the treatment I received in 2023. I credit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and their ongoing research to find a cure.
