Barbaras strength is an inspiration to us
This year, 12 years after Barbara fell asleep in a peaceful rest, my husband (Barbaras son) and I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. This walk is important to us because though each day without her is hard, we recognize the strength in numbers and not feeling alone while we take steps together, supporting one another in life.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether its emotional support via Komens helpline, financial support through Komens financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
