As a team, our goal is rooted in love, strength, and remembrance.

This year, I walk for my mom — the most selfless, beautiful soul I know — and for her dear friends who are currently battling breast cancer and recovery with grace and grit. I walk in memory of the friend she lost last year. And I walk for Nancy, a woman I met only a few weeks ago, who was just diagnosed, who reminded me how community, even among strangers, becomes family in the face of this disease.

Breast cancer touches every circle — every family, every friend group — and we each have a role to play in pushing for better treatments, earlier detection, and more support for the women (and men) who face this diagnosis.

Our team’s fundraising will help connect people to vital care and emotional support, while funding research that might save the next life before cancer takes it.
