Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Years ago, I joined the Komen community and participated in several runs and walks to honor my mother, who lost her fight with breast cancer in 1996. This year, my niece inspired my sister and me to recommit to this important cause by registering for the October 11th event in Maryland ? and we?ll be walking and running the race together.

I am especially compelled to participate this year because of our colleague, Chanel Ward Biddle, who is currently battling cancer. Over the past seven months, I had the privilege of working more closely with Chanel when she transitioned to the PE Partnerships team. Her passion and dedication to our work have never faltered, even as she faces this tremendous challenge.
