My Story
A year ago, in August 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer at the age of 39. Not being of age for a routine mammogram or considered high risk, I luckily found the suspicious lump myself and was able to seek early treatment. After two surgeries and a month of radiation, I am receiving ongoing treatment in the form of hormone and immunotherapies and am happy to report that through the support and expertise of my medical team, friends and family, my recent mammogram showed no sign of disease. Having been through this ordeal myself, I’d like to give my time and help raise money for breast cancer research and to provide assistance and support for other patients and survivors by registering for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
