My Story
This past January my beautiful mother got diagnosed with breast cancer. From the beginning she showed nothing but strength, courage, and resilience during her first treatment. Although her battle isn't over yet, she continues to raise a beautiful family and supports us always so I decided to participate in the Breast Cancer walk for not only my mom but for every woman and man fighting breast cancer.
My mom is the strongest woman I know and she continues to inspire me everyday no matter the obstacles that come in her way. This walk is my way of standing beside her while being in DC this October, and alongside everyone affected by breast cancer like my amazing nana as well. Together I hope to form a team and raise money for hope, awareness and a cure as no one should have to face this alone.
