My Story
On Saturday October 11th, I will be walking in the Susan G. Komen walk in Oxen Hill, MD. I am walking for the many friends of mine whose lives have been impacted by hearing those words "you have breast cancer". I am walking for their beautiful strength and vulnerability and to help raise money to KICK BREAST CANCER IN THE ASS. Those of you who live near me, join me on my walk. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
