My Story
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk—not just as a supporter, but as a two-time breast cancer survivor who understands firsthand how critical this mission is.
My breast cancer fight journey began in 2019 with stage zero breast cancer, followed by a second diagnosis in 2023 that led me through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and the countless moments of uncertainty that every cancer patient knows too well. But through it all, I discovered something powerful: the incredible value of patient voices and shared experiences in navigating this fight.
As the founder of Salura Health, I'm working to transform how we capture and utilize patient experiences to improve care for everyone facing breast cancer. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Your support doesn't just fund breakthrough research—it helps create a world where patient experiences drive better outcomes, where the wisdom gained from each person's journey becomes a beacon for others walking the same path.
Whether it's emotional support via Komen's helpline, financial assistance, or navigation services, Komen will be there. And through my work at Salura Health, I'm committed to ensuring that every patient's experience contributes to the collective knowledge that will ultimately end breast cancer.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. As someone who has lived this journey twice, I know there's a whole community standing by each patient's side—and together, we're not just surviving, we're transforming how we fight this disease.
