Breast Friends Forever!!
Hi, I’m Nikki — a wife, mom, sister, friend, and 2.5-year breast cancer survivor.
In December 2022, I received the news that no woman ever wants to hear: “You have breast cancer.” I was terrified. The world felt like it stopped spinning. But by the grace of God and the strength of an incredible support system, I made it through one of the scariest seasons of my life.
I’ll be walking as a thriving survivor, a living testimony of early detection, faith, and resilience. It was a routine mammogram that caught my cancer early — and I truly believe that mammogram saved my life. That’s why I’m so passionate about encouraging women to get their annual screenings.
This walk is more than just steps — it’s a mission. I walk for the women currently in the fight. I walk for the survivors still healing. I walk for the sisters we’ve lost too soon. I walk so that more women can catch it early. I walk to help get the resources, support, and love women need when facing this diagnosis.
If you’re reading this, I hope you’ll stand (or walk) with me. Whether you’re donating, cheering from the sidelines, or scheduling that mammogram you’ve been putting off — you’re part of the impact.
Together, we can fight for awareness, prevention, and hope.
Together, we can remind the world that faith, early detection, and community can save lives.
With love and purpose,
Nikki
