Join Me in Celebrating 25 Years: Support the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk
Together, We Can Make a Lasting Impact
Each year, I am honored to stand with the Komen community and take part in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk—a movement driven by hope, resilience, and the unwavering determination to end breast cancer forever. This year carries an even deeper significance for me and my family, as we joyfully celebrate 25 years with my sister, Cheryl, thriving as a breast cancer survivor.
Cheryl’s journey is a testament to courage, perseverance, and the life-saving power of research, early detection, and community support. For a quarter-century, we have witnessed her strength and the ripple effect it has had on those around her. Her survivorship is not just a personal milestone, but a beacon of hope for countless others facing the challenges of breast cancer.
In honor of Cheryl’s remarkable 25-year milestone, I have set an ambitious fundraising goal for this year’s walk: $2,500—one hundred dollars for each year Cheryl has triumphed over breast cancer. This number is more than a goal; it is a tribute to her resilience and to the progress made possible by the generosity of supporters like you.
The mission of Susan G. Komen is as urgent as ever: to invest in breakthroughs in research, provide critical care and support, and ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a world where our loved ones are free from the threat of this disease.
But I cannot do this alone. I am reaching out to you—my friends, family, and compassionate community—to help me reach this meaningful target. Whether your gift is large or small, your support in celebration of Cheryl’s 25 years of survivorship will fuel hope, fund groundbreaking research, and provide comfort to those in need.
- Donate: Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to our $2,500 goal.
- Share: Spread the word about Cheryl’s story and the importance of the MORE THAN PINK Walk.
- Join: Walk with us, in person or in spirit, and show your support for survivors everywhere.
Let us honor Cheryl’s 25 years with generosity, action, and hope. Together, we can celebrate survivorship, support those still fighting, and help create a future free from breast cancer. Thank you for standing with me, for Cheryl, and for everyone touched by this disease.
With gratitude,
Sandra
