I'm back with the Executive Leadership Committee of Komen Foundation More Than Pink Walk!  I continue  to work with the Komen community, and my friends and supporters at Sandberg Phoenix are amazing.  We have once again registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, and would love your support.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2022.  It was the most terrifying moment of my life - worrying about whether I would be around for my daughters to see them grow, what my treatment path would entail, if I could keep working, how I would feel, and if I was going to die.  I am now two years post breast cancer diagnosis, multiple surgeries, and continue to fight every day.  I had the love and support of so many people as I learned the terrifying news of having breast cancer, putting together a plan and fighting through this horrible disease.  

Many others do not have people to turn to, and this is the wonderful part of Komen that I love and support.  The financial assistance and resources they provide to breast cancer warriors , fighters, survivors and thrivors is important to me.  Furthermore, the financial support of the research to try to find a cure for this horrible disease that touches so much impacts so many people.  It wasn't until I was diagnosed with breast cancer myself and leaned into Komen that I realized the staggering statistics of how many women are diagnosed every year.
