My Story
George found a lump in his breast around Valentine's Day. As a man, he didn't think much of it but I encouraged him to check it out. Within the week, he went to a primary care, got a mammogram, a biopsy and was diagnosed with breast cancer. The oncologists, surgeon and all the nurses kept saying that he would beat this. . . that we were lucky that he caught it so early!
After a total masectomy last month, George is feeling good. He has to take medication but is very strong and happy and relieved.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.
