My Story
This year our family joined the 2025 Komen Pittsburgh More Than Pink Walk to honor our mother's fight with triple negative breast cancer. Our mother, Melanie, was diagnosed in December 2023 and spent the majority of 2024 in aggressive treatment. Due to her strength and many blessings from God she is now in complete remission. We hope to support and inspire all of those that go through this journey!
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
