This is the Way
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help.
I will be walking with team Pink Mandos. We are members of the Mando Mercs Costume Club. We work to spread joy to all through our love of Star Wars costuming and charity.
Nothing is more important to a Mandalorian than family. In fact, there is a saying in their culture "Aliit ori'shya tal'din" which means "Family is more than blood." The Mandalorian language even uses the same word, "vod", for brother, sister and friend. While all of this is simply lore from a fictional galaxy, I feel these are strong morals that we can adopt in our own. So let us come together as family so we defeat breast cancer for good!
