Our Walk / My Mitzvah Project
Hello, my name is Masyn Laster. Every year my family and I raise money for Susan G. Komen. Susan G. Komen is a foundation that raises money for breast cancer research, treatment and support. This is important to our family because both of my parents lost their mothers, my grandmothers, to breast cancer when they were teenagers. We take part in the annual Mother’s Day Walk as a way of showing our support for others impacted by this terrible disease. I've been doing this walk since I was a baby! My Bar Mitzvah is happening in about 3 months. As part of my Bar Mitzvah project, I have decided to personally ask for your support as I walk on Mother’s Day again this year.
