This is our 2nd annual walk in honor of our sweet Dulce. Last year, Dulce was diagnosed with an early stage breast cancer called Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) that affects the milk ducts of the breast. She underwent surgery for a unilateral mastectomy. And today, Dulce is CANCER FREE!
This was caught early on because Dulce went in for her routine mammogram (ladies, get checked!).
