Janelle Correia - rock star hair stylist,  book worm, beauty guru, craft queen, lover of Christmas, friend, daughter, sister, wife and above all - mother of two amazing boys was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in June. Janelle and her family have gone into swift action and have explored various treatment options. She currently is on medical leave for several months while recovering from her double mastectomy. Her family and friends are in awe of her bravery, resilience, strength, and vulnerability. 

We are planning to walk to honor her fight on November 3rd in Balboa Park. See event details on the team page. 

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their  mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
