On May 31st, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As though I didn't think life could become any heavier, my beloved father passed away 7 days later from cancer.

This year has taught me resilience, strength, and power.  My father and I shared a beautiful bond with each other, we are forever birthday buddies (Nov.3rd).  This year I wasn't sure how I would celebrate my birthday but then I learned that this beautiful walk would take place on our birthday, which is why I decided to register. I am dedicating this walk in honor of my beloved father, myself and to the mission to end breast cancer forever.
