This year marks 27 years since breast cancer forever changed my family's life—most significantly, my sister Cristy's. A little over a year after her diagnosis, she lost her courageous battle with the disease. Since then, our family’s journey has been dedicated to finding a cure. Through education, we’ve learned that early detection truly saves lives—my sisters, Claudia and Cynthia, are living proof of this. Along this path, we’ve stood by and supported many friends and loved ones in their battles against breast cancer. Some have survived, while others, heartbreakingly, have not.

Friends, family, and co-workers have joined our fight over the years, walking with Team Cristy, each with their own deeply personal reasons for doing so.
