Rhonda, the R-Girl, was a two time breast cancer survivor and strong supporter of this organization. Tragically, 10 years after her first case and 5 years after her second case of breast cancer, she was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, a rare cancer that isn't noticed until it reaches advanced stages. Although she fought heroically to beat it, undergoing multiple surgeries and 8 rounds of chemo, ultimately it was just too much. This was a fight she could not win. Since she can't be there to walk with us this year, let's continue the fight in her honor and loving memory. 

As a member of Team R-Girl, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
