February 29, 2024 I went for a routine mammogram. I received a call back saying they wanted to investigate further. About 3 weeks later, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
I have completed 8 rounds of chemo and a double mastectomy as of September 2024. In the upcoming weeks, I will start receiving radiation. Then reconstruction in the summer of 2025.
This journey has been incredibly wild. Truly couldn’t have done it without my husband, family and friends. You all have stepped up in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I have felt so supported and loved while I’ve battled this disease. Thank you for everything, I’m forever in debt to you.
October 26, I will be walking in honor of my friend Heather who I lost to inflammatory breast cancer and myself. Heather, I love you and miss you. This one is for you girl.
Please help us raise funds to end breast cancer.
xo, Pam
