As one of the top fundraising teams of the 2023 Georgia More Than Pink Walk, Hooters' Hope is back to help fight for the lives of those forever changed by breast cancer. Hooter’s Hope’s 2023 team raised $5,600.00, and this year, armed with more team members and the same dedicated spirit, we are aiming to raise even more money.

Alecia Denise Robinson and I met 50 years ago, when we were 6 years old.  Living next door to each other, we became best friends, and over the course of our friendship, we have experienced life’s ups and downs – together.  Nothing prepared me, however, for her breast cancer diagnosis in April 2022.  That was a new and different challenge, and I am so grateful that the Susan G. Komen organization stepped in to assist and support Lisa during her breast cancer fight.  I know what a positive impact the Susan G. Komen organization has made in Lisa’s life, and in true “Lisa-fashion,” she has turned her test into a testimony.  I am so proud of Lisa and honored to join her and the entire Hooter’s Hope fundraising team.
