Hello, my name is Tiffany Washington and I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2+ breast cancer at 41 years old. Since August 2023, I have undergone  6 rounds of  TCHP chemotherapy, a mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, 25 rounds of radiation, and I am currently completing 14 rounds of Kadcyla chemotherapy. My journey has had many ups and downs but I am grateful for be alive! Breast cancer treatments have come a long way in the last 20 years!My story is not unique. Younger women are being diagnosed more than ever these days. I am committed to spread awareness (not just in October) to make sure women pay attention to the early signs/symptoms so they can get help ASAP. I also want women to do their due diligence to advocate for their health. Schedule your annual mammograms and complete self examinations.
