On March 31, 2023, I received a triple-negative breast cancer diagnosis. Having witnessed my mother and her sisters facing breast cancer battles, I somehow sensed it might be my turn. Upon learning about my diagnosis that Friday, I was determined to combat it with all my strength. My experience with breast cancer was enriching. It connected me with individuals I otherwise wouldn't have met and allowed me to actively promote breast cancer awareness through community initiatives. Today, on September 25, 2024, I mark the anniversary of ringing the bell, signifying my victory over cancer. Let’s unite in the fight against breast cancer, emphasizing early detection and access to mammograms for all women.
