Picky P's Story
In prior years I have participated in Breast Cancer walks including the 3 day 60 miles walk in San Diego in solidarity of others. This year I am walking for myself! I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 3 Breast Cancer in March. I have been going through Chemotherapy since April. My last chemo treatment is Sept 3rd. I am scheduled to have both breast removed on Oct 17. My treatment will continue well into Spring 2025.
I have joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in Charlotte on Oct 26. I will walk or roll (wheelchair) with family and friends. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help.
