My Story
For those of you who don't know, my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She was incredibly lucky to detect it early with the help of the amazing folks in the Mass General Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. After some successful rounds of radiation, she is doing incredibly well and we feel so blessed to have the medical help and resources available to us here in MA.
My family and I are now supporting a fundraising effort to insure that the tremendous work being done to combat this disease, and to provide the necessary support services which help patients navigate their diagnoses, continues and improves.
Susan G. Komen is the only organization that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts, such as research, community health, global outreach, and public policy initiatives, in order to make the biggest impact against this disease.
