My Story
It was then I realized something powerful: cancer, no matter its type, affects all of us in ways we don’t always anticipate. The solidarity, strength, and resilience shared among those touched by cancer transcends the specific diagnosis. This is why I’ve chosen to walk for breast cancer awareness.
Though my mom continues to battle with thyroid cancer, I’ve seen firsthand how crucial awareness, early detection, and community support are for anyone facing cancer. Walking for breast cancer awareness is my way of honoring the fighters, survivors, and those we've lost, while also standing beside my mom and everyone else touched by any form of cancer.
In the end, it’s not just about breast cancer or thyroid cancer—it’s about supporting each other in the fight for hope, healing, and a future free from the fear of this disease. That’s why I walk, to remind everyone that we’re stronger together, no matter what type of cancer we're fighting.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let's show breast cancer patients there's a whole community standing by their side.
