Summer of 2022 - I had an odd symptom while I was 6 months pregnant. ​I did a ultrasound & was told to come back after I had my baby. Fast forward to November of 2022 & I had a failed biopsy & decided to have surgery to remove the spot. It came back positive & invasive. I did 6 months of chemo & 1 year of immunotherapy. I had a double mastectomy with a DIEP flap done in July of 2023. I am 8 months in Remission!! I thank God everyday for my child sending me signals in the womb that something was wrong. I am here to raise more awareness to women under 40. It needs to be talked about more!
