Aloha, In May 2022 I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma...which is a type of  Breast Cancer. 

I had just celebrated my 41st birthday in April, and I schedule all yearly exams around my birthday month so I don't miss an appointment. I went for a routine annual mammogram and that is when they spotted the faintest shaded gray area on my right breast. 

At first it's like a gut punch and just an endless amount of crying. But then, you tell yourself you wanna fight! You wanna fight with everything you have, for your kids, for your family, and for yourself! So that's what I did! I fought and I continue to fight for myself!
