“You have breast cancer!” You never imagine hearing these words. You never imagine THIS could happen to YOU. But it did, on December 6th, 2022 I heard these words, “It’s Cancer! You have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma AND not only do you have 1 tumor, you have 2 AND they are TWO DIFFERENT CANCERS!”
6 rounds of chemotherapy, several procedures, scans, MRIs, bone density tests, needle pokes, porticath insertion/removal, blood draws, 2 surgeries and a year of infusions…I can proudly say, I AM A SURVIVOR!!! One year in remission!
I don’t wish this diagnosis on anyone. But we all know I am not the first or the last to hear these horrible words. We all know someone that has been touched by breast cancer….YOU can help them by joining the fight.
