A great deal has taken place in my life since December 2021 starting with Stage II division 3 ductal carcinomas in situ followed by surgeries, chemo and radiation in 2022. I anticipated a year of survivorship for 2023 but unfortunately a brain metastasis was discovered in my left temporal lobe. Surgery was a success! I am forever grateful to you CITY OF HOPE and my amazing medical team. MRIs and PET scans are my new 3 month norm. January and May went smoothly. July; PET scan was clear but new lesions were found in my brain. New treatment plan of chemotherapy every 21 days with Enhertu lasting as long as it remains effective. My HER2-2% is the culprit.
