One year ago today, September 23rd, we lost Leslie and one month ago today, we lost Cara!  BOTH of these women devoted their entire adult lives to teaching and making a difference in the lives of children and their families.  Every life they touched was forever impacted and changed for the better.  Each of them extended their lessons past the classroom and into the lives of all who knew and loved them so very much.  They taught us how to be rooted in love, grounded in faith to stay positive on even the worst of days and to NEVER stop fighting this brutal and wicked disease.  So this year, I walk for my friends and the many lessons they taught me and the love they gave me... from 9th grade and beyond.  Here's to you Cara & Les.  I love you forever and always!
