This year Breast Cancer Awareness Month has a whole new meaning to me.  2 years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and can thankfully say, I am still CANCER FREE!  However, two of my dearest friends, were tragically, not so lucky  One year ago today, on September 23rd, we lost my dear friend Leslie and 4 weeks ago today, we lost my soul sister and forever friend, Cara Lynne.  BOTH of these women were amazing teachers and made a huge impact on the hearts and lives of each of the countless children and their families,  as well as each and every one of us, who were blessed to have them in our lives.  Leslie and Cara were both fierce and fearless warriors who fought this fight with grace, dignity and positivity... even on the worst of days.  They truly gave it all they had and taught us so much... each and every step of the way.  BOTH are gone way too soon after fighting a long and brutal battle against this horrific and wicked disease!  I am therefore, committed to doing all I can to help spread awareness and raise money to help find a cure in their honor!  Here's to YOU Les and Cara Lynne!  I love you forever and always!
