Why I'm Walking
Once AGAIN this year, I'm working to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation through the MORE THAN PINK Walk. Being a survivor myself, having MANY friends who are also survivors or who are currently going through treatment, and tragically, having lost more than one to breast cancer, this is a cause VERY near and dear to my heart.
Funds raised support Komen's breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or help finding care, Komen will be there for them, as they were for me.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.
