My Story
As I mark my 19th year of survivorship, I'm taken back to 2005, when, newly-diagnosed at age 44, I did my first Komen Race. At that point, it was hard to see myself at my 20th Komen event into the future, because it was hard to see my 45th birthday.
As every year since 2005, I'm registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. Mike and I will walk here in SF, or possibly away from home this year. We're dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and we need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
This year's walk is dedicated to a young woman who's in the throes of it right now. Perhaps you know someone like that too? Thank you for your donation--any amount makes a difference.
With gratitude, Ellen & Mike
