Unfortunately we all probably know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, and or is fighting the battle. With October soon approaching, it marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies, keep up with self exams and if you have not had one already, make your annual Mammogram appointment. Early detection is key, and can make all the difference in the world-it did for me.
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, in San Francisco. I am participating with my alum. sorority team Delta Gamma, Bay Area.
