This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. My dear friend Megan is in the middle of this scary journey right now. Her life was turned upside down after finding a lump. Newly married and ready to start a family, her attention was quickly shifted to healing and fighting this disease. Megan is always smiling. She is pushing through this battle with grace, strength, knowledge, perseverance and hope. Her future is bright just like her smile. I walk for her.
