The Fight Against Breast Cancer
Once again, I will be joining the Johnson & Johnson team, as a participant in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. This year, the walk is on October 6th which happens to be the 7th anniversary of my cancer diagnosis! I walk, not only for those lucky enough to have survived this horrible disease, but more so for all those currently fighting and all those that have not survived. Unfortunately, I have too many friends that fall into that category, as I am sure you do too. I am blessed to have been able to see my son get married and celebrate the birth of my 3rd grandchild. Spending time at the beach with family and friends, attending my grandson's baseball games and my granddaughter's dance recitals, and watching my own children accomplish their goals, provides memories that will last a lifetime. None of this would have been possible without continued research and new medical breakthroughs.
