If you would have bet the odds given to me at diagnosis (the first time), or the odds I was given when I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer then you would have lost money a longtime ago.

To celebrate 9 years of surviving and thriving with Inflammatory Metastatic Breast Cancer, I'm getting together with friends and family at the Susan G. Komen New Jersey More than Pink Walk October 6.  And then I'm taking time off work the week after to volunteer my time as a member of the Susan G. Komen Public Policy Advisory Committee and heading to Washington, DC. In DC, I'll be attending 2025 issue vetting meetings and then spending a day on Capitol Hill lobbying members of the senate and house to support critical legislation to expand breast cancer survivors' access to affordable treatment, ban step therapy practices and end the SSDI waiting period for MBC Thrivers among other issues.
