My Story
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.
I’m reaching out to invite you to join me in supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Run. My journey began on October 20th, 2020, when I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.
This was also during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant facing breast cancer with limited support and heightened caution, all while being a single mother to a young child. Despite these hurdles, I’m proud to say that in 2024, I’m celebrating three years as a breast cancer survivor.
I hope my story encourages others to prioritize your mammogram and advocate for your own health and wellbeing.
I encourage you to walk with me to raise funds and awareness, not just for women everywhere, but specifically for the women of color in our community. Together, we can make a difference. Your support means the world to me as I continue to thrive in remission, thanks to the love and prayers of my amazing friends who have been my rock throughout this journey.
Will you please join me in this fight by making your donation today and or walk with me?
