My Story
On January 23rd I was happy teaching my wonderful students and taking care of my daughter, Rachel. Then later that afternoon I received a diagnosis that devastated me. I learned that I had breast cancer. The next five weeks were absolutely horrific as I learned more about what I was dealing with and the treatment that would be required. I truly did not think that I would be able to endure what lay ahead. But what I didn't know is that there would be so many angels that would appear to walk with me. It is because of all these amazing people that I have gotten through the past, now almost eight months. I am so humbled by all the support. love, and prayers I have received. This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help.
