My story
On April 10, 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. No family history, no genes, no concerns from my previous scan - simply a "fluke" that in less than a year this horrible disease had made a home in my body.
After the shock of my diagnosis wore off, I made a commitment to myself to stay as active (and positive) as possible throughout my treatment journey. Over the last few months I've made a point to plan small activities to keep myself motivated, and this October my first HUGE milestone is on deck.
On October 3rd, I will complete my 16th (and hopefully final) round of chemo. What better way to celebrate than with my Mom & Palmer (Team KayKay) by my side at our first Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK WALK in LA -- just two days later?!
I'll probably be exhausted, a little puffy, and maybe even a bit nauseous, but I can't wait to show up in person and support the fight against cancer!
My hope is that you'll celebrate this milestone with me by contributing to my fundraising efforts. Every little bit helps!
THANK YOU for supporting me through my fighting era! I am sooo looking forward to moving on to my survivor era soon
