Dear Friends,

 This will be my third year being a part of Annette's fabulous Susan G. Komen Team to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer.  I am writing to you because you have been passionate about this cause.   I will be participating in the MORE THAN PINK WALK on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.

Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. I have learned that the money raised goes to so much more than medical research. 

Your contribution provides: 

• emotional support via Komen’s helpline
• financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program
• navigation services to break down barriers to get care
• and so much more

Most likely, we know someone who has been touched by this horrible disease.  However, with the funds that have been raised, women are more likely to survive a breast cancer diagnosis today than at any time in history.  Even though breast cancer is still the second most prevalent cancer in women, it is not the deadliest.  Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there is a whole community standing by their side.
