I was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago.  As part of my treatment, my doctors were able to take advantage of cutting-edge science to ensure that I made a full recovery.  Not all women have access to this amazing healthcare and I feel so fortunate to live in a city with these types of medical resources.  I walk for myself, my family and friends who supported me during my recovery, and to raise money to continue to fuel the science that saves women’s lives every day!
