Love Stays Strong
To all my dear family and friends,
It has been 17 years since my personal diagnosis with breast cancer. My darling girls were 11 and 13 at the time. After my breast cancer diagnosis, I was unsure that I would be able to make it to their high school graduations let alone their weddings and now the greatest gift of all becoming a grandmother. In June, my daughter Zoe and her husband Bryson gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl, Mila James Lloyd. I am beyond excited to be a Glamma! And with more good news, Chloe, my youngest daughter, and her husband Nick are having a baby boy in November! I feel so lucky to experience the love of a growing family.
My job as CEO of Susan G, Komen is personal to me. Our mission is MY passion. I am fundraising for Komen so someday my girls will live in a world without breast cancer. I am the team captain of the “Komen’s Bosom Buddies” and plan to walk in the Los Angeles More Thank Pink Walk on October 5th at Exposition Park Downtown. I also plan to participate in the San Diego More Than Pink Walk on November 3rd in Balboa Park. I would love for you to join my team, register, fundraise and walk beside me to show the incredible impact we can make. After all, YOU are my “Bosom Buddies”.
There is a link attached for my team. It is a lovely way to spend the day (walking 3 miles) and I promise you, these are life changing and you will have a wonderful time! If you can’t join the team then please consider making a donation to my link below. I truly appreciate our friendship and your support!
Until there’s a cure, Paula
