Why I Walk
Join me as I walk in honor of one of our family's dearest friends, Beverly. Beverly has been like family to me for over 20 years when I became best friends with her daughter Meghan in college. Beverly warmly welcomed me in to all of her family's most special celebrations - graduations, weddings, babies, jobs, and just celebrating everyday life milestones. She's been like a "bonus grandma" to my sons since they were born, and they have so many special memories with her.
When Beverly was diagnosed with breast cancer we were all taken by surprise, as she's always been the perfect picture of "health". Through every step of navigating her diagnosis and treatment, Beverly demonstrated courage, faith, and true resilience. She fought her breast cancer with such grace and resilience which is a true testament to the incredible woman she is.
We thank God every day that Beverly successfully conquered breast cancer and is now back to enjoying all of her favorite things like making memories with her incredible family, and loving everyone around her like they're part of her own family.
Too many of us have been impacted by breast cancer (or some other form of cancer). Please join me in this fight to end breast cancer by joining my team to walk alongside me on October 5, or by supporting my goal of raising $2,500 in Beverly's honor.
Thank you, Beverly, for being such an incredible inspiration to all who know you. We love you!
